We are a non-auditioning choir based in Southwell. We have been established for almost 60 years. Rehearsals take place each Monday evening in term time at 7:30pm in the Minster. New members are always welcome.

We will commence work on Carmina Burana on Monday 13th January 2025. Please note that this has changed from Monday 6 January 2025.

We shall be singing Carmina Burana in Southwell Minster on Saturday 10th May 2025.

Please note that the Nicholas Thorpe Composition Award for 2024 was awarded to Mr Sam Meredith for his composition of Polaris (see Gallery page)

A family apple tree has been planted in the Burgage with a plaque to celebrate 60 years of Southwell Choral Society (see gallery page)
